I gotta say I've never really understood the appeal of this guy.

I tried watching a couple episodes of the show he briefly had on Comedy Central, and was overjoyed when they finally cancelled it. It was, IMHO, a half-hour special devoted to the dumbed-down, flag-waiving, minority-hating, homo-bashing, banjo-picking, rednecks in the lower 48.

I took the show's cancellation as an affirmation of my condemnation of the "stupid nation". ;o)
