I feel like I've entered the Twilight Zone. All day, CNN has been freaking me out by airing this video. Calling this Muslim suicide car bomber a "hero" seems a bit, I don't know, EXTREME to me.
You have to apply moral relativism. Giving your life for a cause is not necessarily extreme, it is the context in which it is done that determines whether it is or not. In this case, a single man fighting oppression gave his life in objection to his oppressors.
To blame this man of extemism would be equal to blame MLK of extremism. We may not agree on the religious message they put forth, but we can agree on the worthiness of fighing oppression.
