I liked that. It is a very difficult thing. This does a good job of explaining exactly how it is.

Also, I really liked the ending about asking "If there was not God, would you want to know?".
That's a gigantic question. I'm going through a situation with my partner right now that thinks of himself as some sort of moderate christian, but he doesn't believe in the bible and is, admittedly, scared of thinking that there is nothing after death. He's intelligent and knows that the fear is irrational and logically void of actual reason. I'm going to ask him this question when he gets home and it just might prove that he's just not ready to be open completely about it since years of logic and reasons hasn't broken him completely through yet. Though there has been tons and tons of progress already.

Thankfully my father is far to rational to accept any religious beliefs. I'm also glad that my mother is not way to fanatically religious to accept me not having and not wanting to be a part of religion.
