I take that the other way Rob. I'm a fan of his because he's a theist and it lends credibility with other theists. I don't know what part of his religion he chooses to ignore...

@Gaytor - I actually know a few theists who dismisses the Bible as a literally piece and rather focus on the parts which focus on more philosophical questients, essentially "a handbook of doing good". They tend to believe in a non-interventionist god which generally snapped his fingers and thus started the universe and Jesus being sent to offer humanity pieces of wisdom (of peace) that was not commonplace in the time when he allegedely existed. They accept science, reason, logic, evolution, big bang and everything else, they mostly just believe in a force of good and don't think it's their job to try to convince other people (least of all atheists) that they are right.

Incidently, these are the theists I don't have much problem with understanding, and they just smile and nod acceptingly when I tell them I think something like the MiB ending is equally likely.
