Eric Bolling Kicks Atheists Off of His Show For Making Anti-Jesus Comments
it is sad that the christian host feels it ok to remove the atheist who is 'preaching' his belief about god, then turns to another christian who is free to preach his message without interruption or insult..
it may be his show, but there is a thing called free speech that is quickly being eroded in the usa in the name of christianity! that is a scary prospect!
Good grief! That is telling. 'I cannot allow you to talk like that' ????? The man was pointing out that Jesus' birth was all about the Christian god getting angry at the wickedness of humanity and sending down his own son to be tortured to death in order to appease himself. That is insulting and also insane. The host did not even try to argue with it just 'I cannot allow you to talk like that' I feel for you American atheists. :(
Shit like this pisses me off. Dan Barker used to be a preacher so he knows what he's talking about. The host of this show is another christian who is ignorant of their religions true history. I would bet money he has never opened the bible. I had a feeling if I watched this video it would irritate me and I was right. UGH!
This pisses me off to no end. I almost feel like we should organize and begin an email/letter writing, phone calls (harassment ;) ) campaign to let this idiot know why he's dead-wrong. I'm sure we could get some other atheist groups to participate. I just feel crap like this cannot go unchallenged. If we don't stand up for ourselves, and let people know why they're wrong, prejudiced, and discriminative, then this xian bullying will continue unabated.
We need to be careful and choose our battles and choose how we battle. This did not come off painting us in a favorable way. He could've easily made his point without the comments that were interpreted as insults. Just my opinion.
They make the FFRF sound like a few guys in Wisconsin......it's a national organisation isn't it?
Wow that idiot at the end really does not understand how spot on he was about people feeling unwelcome.
Hey all, good string of comments. It's terrible that the USA wont allow our viewpoint sometimes. I have to agree with Robert Karp "We need to be careful and choose our battles and choose how we battle. This did not come off painting us in a favorable way. He could've easily made his point without the comments that were interpreted as insults". Also, LotusGeek about writing a letter. I hope one day we wont be treated as lower class citizens for having different beliefs.
Dan Barker did not do any favors to the atheist community by making inflammatory remarks. He should of stood his ground on the fact that religious displays should be left to private property and not state grounds. Tact is a key element of diplomacy.
Hey Kir Kormrik (kk) I can see you totally get it. Thanks for the comment. To Flower: hahahahahaha @Ed Totally agree. @ Zach Winkler: Thanks for the comment, I agree to some degree, we should feel physically ill. However, we shouldn't hate. Atheism isn't about hate. I feel it's more about a different set of beliefs and, in the USA, equality in beliefs. Careful with the verbs hahaha ;)You guys are awesome to a new atheist.
