And there are millions of Americans like her - some in legislative positions.  Sad, very sad. (and I'm not sure she and Bush weren't very alike in their beliefs)

I believe the preacher is not homophobic, he's homomisiac. The difference is simple: a homophobe fears homosexuals, a homomisiac hates homosexuals. I say this especially because I'm sure his views are based on his interpretation of The Bible, not due to some fear-instilling experiences he's had or has heard about.

I love Anderson Cooper.  I also love how polite and logical he was, and how this woman just grew increasingly agitated as the questions progressed.  It's obvious she was irritated because he was making sense and calling her out, which was grating up against all those hardcore beliefs she's holding onto.  She probably went home so angry and confused, but not smart enough to articulate why, exactly.  I almost feel sorry for her, except that I'm pretty sure she's married and has probably procreated more just like her.
