I really like what he has to say, but I think that there is an unfair bias against the word atheist that should be challenged. I don't believe there is a god; I don't subscribe to any religion; and I employ the scientfic method to understand life. I think that makes me both an atheist AND a naturalist. Thanks for sharing the vid, Baddy! :)

I agree with you Chelsea and I believe that in this case what it boils down to is a matter of personal preference and how you perceive your standpoints and beliefs. The term "atheist" does have a bad connotation associated with it and I'm glad this website exists so that we might prove otherwise.

As for me, I don't believe in god or subscribe to any religion as well, but I'm a solid agnostic in the sense that I can't put stock into anything and don't have any honest answers as to what the afterlife may hold or if it even exists at all.

Sometimes I call myself a Naturalist (or Humanist or Naturalistic Humanist), because then people won't bother me until after they do at least one google search! Seriously, I think self-labeling as Atheist takes courage.
