In short - it's a "holy" day that's all about how sacrifice, bloodshed, pain and of course about how great dying for one's god really is. Because, because..... well just because.

This video has nothing to do with Muhammad it's all about Husayn...

These shia acts came after Muhammad's grand son died named Husayn....

The aim of this act is punish themselves, they do this every year, it is called Self-flagellation

They punish themselves because they did'nt save Husayn who died in that day
