The so-called-logic this guy brings to the table is horrendous.

Let's assume for a minute that God exists and that I am God.. This is what  I'd say to Christopher Hitchens, "Ok, you've seen me. You know I exist. Do you believe in me now?"  Simple as that. Being the loving and forgiving God of the New Testament I wouldn't be sending him to Hell because I loved him. Sometimes I wonder just which God the Christian want to follow-- the vengeful one from the Old Testament or the one espoused by Christ in the New Testament.. Make up your minds and stick with one or the other. Don't jump back and forth when you fell like it.. That causes more problems then it solves..

Yeah, that disease seems to be going around in the preachers out there. Doug Wilson basically walks riiight up to that line, but gingerly dances around it. Coward. ;)

This guy INFURIATES me. "God sends him to hell because he LOVES Hitchens"

I am against vigilantism and violence in general, but this guy needs his ass whupped (as we say down here in the Deep South ;) ).

"For the sake of argument," let's assume that when Fischer dies, his hate (vividly manifest in this video) will get him sent to Hell.  Then by his own twisted logic, God must have sent him there because He hated him, since we can be pretty sure that Hell is NOT where Bryan Fischer wanted to go.

I stopped listening after he said, "if the scriptures mean anything..."

OK, I definitely understand - and I find this is a great explanation to explain how xians/the religious are able to believe - that xians use a mental device known as the "Suspension of Disbelief". However this idiot takes it to the extreme. How in the WORLD can this guy twist common sense and logic to say, "God loves you so much that he tortures you for eternity." Also, how in the hell (excuse the pun) can he say that Hitchens wanted to go to hell? Who would willingly want that? In order for Hitch to want that, he would have to BELIEVE in that - and if he did, he would believe in God as well, because he would believe in Hell. It really is a catch-22, chicken-and-egg argument.

What's worse, the idiots that have a heightened capacity for Blind Faith will actually agree with this idiot - and that scares the hell out of me. What would prevent one of the more psycho-radical followers of this creep to start killing atheists because "God loves them and they want to go to hell, and I'll help them out."

FSM help us all.
