He's making two assumptions that any half-decent apologist would rip to shreds. First, he assumes that God has no concept of linear time as we experience. Second, he assumes that God can't exist as a part of the flow of time if he wanted to. Since God supposedly created time itself, I would assume he can manipulate it or participate in it as he sees fit.

A nice try, but it wouldn't stand up under Christian scrutiny.

To Galen:

My argument doesn't require god to be timeless, it only requires that he is separate and outside of this time line, as an author is to the time line of a book. We are certainly within a time frame, yet separate from the time frames of every novel ever written.

*shrug* I'm just saying that Christians wouldn't find it a compelling argument, that's all. I'm not really interested in defending my point as it would require me to defend the fictional properties of God, which seems like kind of a waste of time :)

I've found there have been very few arguments they'd found compelling. If that wouldn't be the case they wouldn't be Christians lol.
