It's sad that he thinks he has a chance at the presidency.

I can't believe this guy is still in the election... Ron Paul is the only one I want to see win.

I wonder if Newt ever believed in anything or anyone but his creepy, pompous words. He gives words no meaning. It's like he told his second wife, "It doesn't matter if I believe it, just that I say it". If he didn't get a lift in primary voting, he'd probably gone back to his sham award giving. "You have been chosen for a certificate, just send in $5000."

The anti-gay Bill Byrne is again running for Cobb County Commissioner. He was so spectacularly bad. When he was commissioner before, he was involved in "The Sacred Art of Russia" exhibit. I think that Newt was involved in that as well. It was supposed to prove how privatization could be SO successful. The group fired the first man to organize the exhibit, then hired someone who was part of the Russian mafia to be in charge. The commissioners at one point had to hire bodyguards. How much was Newt a part of that?

@dragotron Ron Paul is a creationist. No thanks.

I watched The Daily Show earlier (before the Brad Pitt interview) and there was a clip of Newt talking about overturning all the anti Christian laws passed by Obama as soon as he got elected. By “as soon as” he means immediately - even before he goes to the post election celebrations!! Maybe I misheard because I was thinking about the cost of the new moon base.

Now that we live in a completly non-democratic corprate fascist state, expect to see a lot more Newt. He loves to talk about "Secular bigotry", like when the catholic church pulled it's cherities out of the DC area because they decided to allow same sex marage, that was somehow "Secular Bigotry". The catholic church stops handling adoptions in a state where same sex couples are alowed to adopt and thats somehow "secular bigotry". What kind of sick fuck lets catholics near orphans to begin with.

A genuinely free country which worships god sounds like an oxymoron to me. Such a shame that those children are being taught that America isn't a place of religious or non-religious freedom.

Gingrich just thinks this is a tactic which might get him the Republican nomination. No more, no less. His past demonstrates that he is practical in the most cutthroat way. He's about as religious as my left testicle.
