I love how nervous Mr. Minnery looked when Sen. Franken said that he checked the study out. Its the "Oh crap, I'm screwed" look.

It seems to be like this with most studies cited by homophobes defending marriage/ family/ whatever.  I'll bet Franken was laughing before he even read the study, because it was obvious from the get go that something was amiss.  People have a habit of saying that x fact was revealed in a study, hoping that nobody actually reads the study to find out it's bullshit.  As with everything else, there's  an xkcd strip for that:

I love wiki as a jumping off point - those little blue numbers are excellent fact checking tools if you actually click on them.  Some articles are rock solid, but on occasion I find that half the the cited articles are dead links - especially when I'm looking into events that occurred within the last 10 years.
