FOX Business: European Economy Hurt by Secularism?

April 14, 2010 on FOX Business Network - via

Apparently, secularism = paganism? This reminds me of Meletus' charges against Socrates in the "Apologia" which claim that the philosopher was both an atheist and worshiper of false gods.

Jake, I think that this was on the Fox Business channel. I actually didn't know that there was a Fox Business channel that was separate from the FoxNews channel; I haven't had a TV in a while but stuff like this tempts me to get one just for the comedy of it!

Haha, yeah they do. They must think that sneaky camera angles will distract from how stupid the people talking are. Oh wait, that actually does work for most of their viewers...

a 'perverse' 'worship' of the Earth?!?! what is this guy talking about??

to respect and not be profligate with the limited and tainted resources that we have left, and well as giving back to damaged environments is not a practice of 'worship'. there is no element of religion in being greenminded, even the Gaia theory is just a metaphor - its not ACTUALLY final fantasy.

what a bastard. and one of the few that make me apologetic for brits. though he does live in america, so that's a grey area...

European economy woes due to secularism?... Come again? Apparently these people are unaware that the Great British Pound and European Euro are both worth MORE than the US Dollar.

But this is fox, so why should we be surprised.

I also like how they propose that waiting for the government to take care of everything for you and having faith that God will take care of things for you are the only options. How about taking accountability into your own hands?

I can't watch this...There should be a law. The guy with collar can not be trusted. His superstitious allow him to KILL on faith. Best to avoid!
