I haven't watched most of this season, but I'm glad they did something to move Kurt's sexuality beyond token homosexuality.  In part because I felt bad for the character having no solid romance potential, but also because non-hetero characters need to be sexualized in a more normal way (not just campy sterotyes, faux lesbians and cute gays that have the sexual appeal of puppies).

 

Have to confess, I don't really know who Victoria Jackson is.  I've watched some SNL sketches from that time frame, but not really the sketches from the nobodies.  I'm not calling down being a nobody (I am one myself), but it does seem like she's just media whoring to compensate for her relegation back into anonymity.  I'd address her statements, but they were broadcast on a level of stupid that is too far out of my perceptible range.

I "pray" for her daughter. I wouldn't wish such a close-minded mother on anyone. She can't find any show for her teen to watch? Oh, right. Cus Glee teaches tolerance! It's anti-religion because religion teaches hatred. Kurt is also Atheist. Though they didn't use the word, he did say he doesn't believe there is a god. (On a different episode.)

at 1:33 you can clearly see some writing on her hand...Is this a Sarah Palin move? aside from that, I vaguely remember her on SNL, she was on there with Phil Hartman, and she was remarkably unfunny.

Yeah, I heard about this on Twitter. She works with Fox News so I wasn't surprised. I just want to say that some gay people think that hetero PDA is disgusting but you don't see them spouting off about it in the media. Some people really need to learn how to walk a mile in other people's shoes.

It isn't only some gay people who find hetero PDA disgusting, I often find it disgusting too. I am straight-oriented, admittedly with some bi tendencies, but I do feel I can speak for a large number of 'straights' who aren't interested in seeing anyone tonsil-wrestling on the public transit system. As far as mainstream media goes, I can be a little old fashioned in that I really want to see sexuality portrayed with dignity and as an extension of emotional bonds. In regard to the kiss scene displayed in the video; I'm slightly uncomfortable watching it but still able to appreciate it as a display of sincerely portrayed romance.

I seriously see nothing wrong with that kiss... It was actually sweet and romantic by my standards. Shit I've seen kisses that were way grosser then that and they were between a straight couple.

Bigots react so childishly sometimes. I can't even believe she is all * POW HERE IS MY BIBLE I'M JUST GONNA WAVE IT AROUND NOW*. Like no one seen that coming.
