There are criteria for true prophet: Deuteronomy 18:21-22

To summarise it:
If what the prophet predicts comes true, it's from God. If it doesn't come true, it's a fake!

This is to ensure the following fact:
All prophecies from God come true.

(Is it just my strange sense of humour or does anyone else find that amusing?)

Well some idiot I was arguing with on the flame war (read Argument Between Me and A Chrsitian) says everyone hears "the voice" and that they should listen to it. I am pretty sure it was all psychological or a hallucination he was having but he got all offended when I told him.
