Why is this crap not seen as psychological problems? Why is it seen as fit to be included in our governing? We have people acting the exact same way stuck in hospitals everywhere against their will (rightly of course), but it's cool if you say it's a religious thing.

They are not nutballs. They are just caught up in the high emotional state that has been induced by the church organizers. Its actually a very basic mind control technique and its cause many of the people to react hysterically. Its gone on for years and it takes a lot of time to get over this for the victims. Quite frankly it should be illegal as it causes quite severe mental problems in the church goers.

I believe the behavior is often a physical reaction to overwhelming guilt. Unfortunately, the guilt is generally caused by being told how to behave by the church and going against your natural instincts and judgments.
