I'd imagine the answer is no, and it's pure reaction: hear the word 'gay' and go on a rant regurgitating crap he's been filled with his entire life.

So galling.

I don't know what to say about these things anymore. You would think it would shock me that in the 21st century we have to deal with this crap here in the US. But it doesn't. It makes me sad. It makes me angry. I'm a non-violent man, but I would love to kick this guy in the nuts. Is it any wonder why our LGBT brothers and sisters struggle to find a place here?

Yeah, but that's why I detest this crappy "hate the sin, love the sinner" canard. It leads to this, when fully embraced.

 

I gotta remember this video for the next time the theology student who pesters our local news blog trots out something like this old canard.

Just goes to show how loving and tolerant God really is, right? This is abominable!! However, he is not an isolated phenomenon. Conservative, evangelical Christians believe this, advocate it and promote it. Christianity is a religion of division, condemnation, judgment and ultimately hatred.
