Boy that's disturbing. Why aren't those religious nutcases prosecuted for child abuse because that's exactly what it is.

Some of those kids in the video, during the jesus camp part, appear to be sleep deprived.

Such a drastic difference between Sagan's approach to reaching out to children, than Jesus Camp. Sagan captures his audience with curiosity and wonder, and leaves the audience with an an awe inspiring wonderment. Jesus Camp insights violence, and is not too far from riots. The J.C speakers makes the audience feel worse about themselves to the point kids start crying. Notice how both Sagan and J.C use pathos to capture the attention of the audience, and yet the end results are polar opposites. Fascinating dynamic.

The destructive power of religion infused into young minds tormented by madmen.  Fuck.

I'd like to throw those jesus camp adults in their own pot to simmer. I am in shock on how these precious young minds are programmed to is insane!

beginning: wow, what a nice video

4:35: okaaay...

6:00: WTF?

6:25: O.O

7:24: whut?

And then they complain that Muslim children are indoctrinated to hate the Western civilization?

I think the thing that I will remember longest is the sheer difference between the wonder and humor displayed in the first part of the video vs the freaking emotions in the second part.

Jesus Camps simply makes me very angry!

I couldn`t force myself to watch it to the end. The first part is beautiful. The second part brought me such disgust that I instinctively closed the tab in my browser after less than a minute. Please tell me this is not true?

Couple observations:

- Jesus camp, with the exception of a few is very, very white.

- This indoctrination is nothing less than equivlanet to the indoctrination of white supremist youth or nazi youth.

- the male preacher was South African, and since his country has let go of the hate and fear that allowed apartheid, it seems he has a found a new home here in the US. I am ashamed to call him a fellow South African.

- Andrew - this is child abuse

This make me want to fight harder for reason and free will. Never be silent people.
