I home schooled my daughter but gave her all the necessary information to deal with the real world. She has had no problems adapting but has missed a lot of the pitfalls that public school children often find them selves in. Home schooling can be fine if done correctly. The problems begin when parents try to shelter their children from knowlege like evolution and only teach them religious dogmas.
