"Watches in horror" is a bit of an exaggeration, but it's pretty clear that geology is not this guy's forte.

Methinks Jason gives the Faux News guy too much credit.

 

More telling, in my view, was the "banter" between the two anchors after the Bill Nye interview concluded.  "..we should send Bill Nye out to D.C...", "..little number-crunching...help this debt thing...". Do people actually rely on Fox for news and onformation?   Arrghh!!! My brain reels at the thought.

I think his stupidity threw Bill a little bit, because he was repeating himself and pausing. The lesson to take is that even the smartest can get thrown by blinding idiocy. Always be on your guard.

When Bill started to talk about the moon cooling down faster because it's smaller, I was just waiting for the anchor to ask him if he thinks Global "Warming" is real, why aren't all our volcanoes erupting?  I think someone behind the camera was carefully coaching the anchorman after his first blunder.  Did you notice once his face went slack, and the camera cut to Bill?  And then, they "had to go" rather quick, didn't they?
