Comment by Karen Lollis on June 20, 2012 at 10:01am My nephew went to Liberty. He had been homeschooled by my step-sister (an awesomely lovely, intelligent and all around wonderful women who hasn't yet broken free from her fundamentalist upbringing). His father is a geophysicist who worked for oil companies and now teaches computer science - and he's a young-earther.
Anyway, my nephew chose Liberty at least in part because he didn't want to go to a college where his beliefs would be challenged. (I may be overstating, but that was essentially the reason he gave.)

Comment by James Cox on June 21, 2012 at 11:55pm Dear Folks:
Sadly I live a protected existence. I come here for some entertainment, education, and insights not received anywhere else. I had not heard of 'Liberty College' till this moment and shall now not confuse 'real Liberty' with this shadow. Thank you!

Comment by Jimmy Russell on June 22, 2012 at 8:54pm Bill is my my number one hero for the most part. Would love to burn with him and discuss the world and how can he put up with some of the absolute fucking idiots he has to have on his show sometimes. Which is on in an hour. sweet
Comment by Michael on June 23, 2012 at 6:55am @Jimmy
Yes Bill is usually very funny and great to watch. Except when he flips his lid and starts ranting about vaccines causing autism. I had some objections about Maher speaking at the Reason Rally because vaccine denialism is anything but reasonable.
