While I adore Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins, I think that Sam Harris is a person to whom more Americans can relate. If we (atheists) ever develop a unifying front to gain the political power we need to have an influence on federal and state laws, I believe that Sam Harris is a person who could represent an American atheist movement.

Agreed Smokey. But I think we need influence on all fronts, even Jim Jefferies has value. My favorite thing about Sam is his composure.
