It just blows my mind that every single person in that room knows for a fact that this guy is lying and they just choose to suspend their reason and lend their credulity for the sake of supporting their delusions.  I've sat through things like this and had candid discussions with other believers and every single one of them will refuse to ask for a proper ID of the messenger or the receiver of the 'miracle' - and to me that is solid proof that deep down they know it's 100% bullshit.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard in my life.  That includes people saying they believe in dowsing for corpses.  Then again, god making it so you can get off a murder rap if you believe makes sense.  According to the old testament, he gets off on that sort of thing.

lol that's funny!  This reminds me of a conundrum I came across as a wee Catholic:  why not live a life of utter debauchery and periodically ask for God's forgiveness, just to cover your bases?  I'm sure some people do this.  Exploit that Grace!  There's nothing like deathbed conversions for serial killers!

Ugh this reminds me actually of something I was taught in high school.

We were learning about bastards in the bible and why they have to be excluded and can't marry. So the reason is, because their parents sinned, it's in their DNA to sin, so they are not allowed to be part of society.

I hate when they try to use 'science' for their twisted beliefs
