I went from 1:47 and jumped (couldn't stand it anymore) to around 20:15 and then around 21:30 there was a most beautiful and eloquent pause of almost 30-45 seconds where he just smiled and coughed. How refreshing!

It's really all quite pathetic. I wish I could just pat him on the head and reassure him that everything will be alright.  :^ )

Sadly, not everything will be alright. About the only way to reasure him would be to yell back!

Everytime I have yelled back before, it just makes them think that I am bonkkers for not being a good repentant ex-atheist/humanist. Whitehead's idea of the 'self sealing system' seems validated.

Doubling my efforts just feels like a distraction from my 'having a nice day'. I don't even want to think badly of them, I would rather plant peas and walk my dogs.

Having christians around just seems draining. I remember taking a religious friend of mine to a local Orchid Society meeting years ago. The flowers were wonderful. the conversation enlightening. But my friend was boored, she did not have a soul to 'SAVE', and the conversation did not include her as the center of the universe. She knows it all already, why bother trying to know anything else. I don't believe she represented all christians, but many..;p(.
