Why can't all Christians be like the host of the show.  His arguments are exactly what secularists say yet he declared that he is a believing Christian.  The woman had so many face palm moments I could tell the host was getting annoyed with her.

Who is this "doctor" and what is she a "doctor" of? She's definitely not very knowledgeable about American history despite her book.

Best interview by a Christian host I have ever seen! Seriously, someone should contact that guy and commend him on an unbiased interview on his part. I somehow suspect he is a closet Atheist though.

Richard, I looked her up, and disappointingly, her PhD is political science, and she is a professor at Vanderbilt.

This has nothing to do with Rick "Oops" Perry, but deals with Red States embracing religion, which in my opinion, is relevant:

Florida- Amendment 8 “Religious Freedom”- Removes the prohibition now in the state Constitution against using revenues from the public treasury directly or indirectly in aid of any church, sect, or religious denomination or in aid of any sectarian institution. If voters approve it in November, state funds may be used to pay for religious services. As the Florida newspaper the Sun Sentinel put it “money, filthy lucre, a raw grab for taxpayers’ millions, is behind Florida’s proposed Constitutional Amendment 8, purposely misnamed ‘Religious Freedom.’”

There's no doubt in MY mind that it will be challenged and found unconstitutional, but there's more taxpayer money - on both sides - stuffed into lawyer's pockets so Red State politicians can pass the Religious Right's "Holier-Than-Everybody" Litmus Test.
