Religions, to survive, anticipate objections and criticisms, then incorporate apologetics for them directly into their scripture. This is more evident in the Quran than in the Bible, only because it takes up a higher percentage of text. But the Bible has its fair share as well. Another favorite strategy found in scripture is an absolutist morality buttressed by anti-intellectualism. Muhammad took his cues for the Quran from the Bible.

Built-in apologetics, absolutist morality and anti-intellectualism promote and reinforce fundamentalism in the Abrahamic religions.

I would think it would be theists who would more likely ignore stop signs, believing, "If god wanted my car to stop, he'd stop it himself!"

This is what we would call a hate based criticism. Notice how many times he refers to what the bible says and then interprets it into his own little way making it as awful as possible, while throwing in his own little snide comments. "I wonder how atheists drive".

"We are not able to understand the creator"... I just have to laugh... His ignorance is actually laughable.

This is the power of a group majority against singular minority that they can say statements like that which are the polar opposite of the truth and get away with it.

Makes me ill that people like that claim to be on the side of light. Mean-spirited, lying, vindictive and mindless idiot. Makes me ill.
