any fallout from this action? did any religious groups get upset?

what if you were to go through "scheduling" or whatever proper channels exist? does you campus allow the religious groups to advertise? if so, you should be able to as well. it might be worth showing that atheists are officially recognized.

Throughout the year we had seen religious groups doing this, so we decided to do it too. We were approached by the campus news team and they asked if we were apart of a group. Apparently it's illegal to chalk if you aren't in a group, we did this at the end of the year so we are waiting until the school year begins again to start one.

We didn't get in trouble or anything, it's only chalk (haha), but they sure made a huge deal about it.
Our campus allows any official groups to advertise, so once we get this group started, the campus will be covered with our message!

Christian groups on our campus did this as well. They plastered several buildings with quotes from the bible and got little more than a slap on the hand for it. I was sooo tempted to do the same with quotes from famous atheist/agnostic individuals, the message would be so much more powerful.
