American Muslims Stone Christians in Dearborn, MI

My very religious friend on facebook posted this in favor of the xtians. This was my comment on it:
This is why you don't have aggressive protests (aggressive being the signs that say they're going to burn in hell) around teenagers. Or really anywhere. But teenagers and kids are worse. Both sides piss me off. Stupid and pointless because the signs aren't going to cause anyone to convert and the throwing crap isn't going to help their opinion of you. The police were not going to spare officers to protect these guys because they would have probably been injured and the entire thing would have just kept getting worse and worse with or without police.
Religion is like a penis.
It's fine to have one.
It's fine to be proud of it.
But please don't whip it out in public and start waving it around.
And please don't try to shove it down my children's throats.

I'll update if he has a response. I'm just really pissed off about this damn video. Just fighting about who has the better imaginary friend.

Do you know the context of the video?  I am curious now, even though I couldn't get halfway through it.

Last year these xtians showed up at this muslim festival with signs saying that they're all going to burn in hell. Of course they got a bad reaction and the police asked them to leave because they were causing a disturbance and risking the safety of others. The xtians decided to file a lawsuit against the city for restricting free speech. And they won.

They decided to go back again this year with a video camera. Things escalated and became worse than the previous year. Most of the muslims look like teenagers, so of course they have less control over their anger. They ended up throwing bottles, rocks, and trash at the xtians. The xtians wanting to make their "point" stayed and took it. They kept mentioning on camera that the cops were doing nothing and were discriminating against them. I think they were hungry for another lawsuit. I felt awful for the police because they were getting hit and hurt by both sides had nothing to do with it and the only choices they had were to remove the xtians to keep everyone safe or tear gas the damn place.

Pretty much the xtians went there looking for the reaction they knew they would get and the muslims response was not a good one. Both sides should have ignored each other and mind their own business.

Looks like someone showed up on the wrong part of town...

What a bunch of crybabies.  Yeah, they're allowed to be there and voice their opinion, but based on their OWN video, they're obviously there to incite this sort of outrage.  They're trying their best to get punched.  If somebody slugs one of them, I hope they take them away in a WAAAAAAAAHmbulance.  What a bunch of bitches.

Now that I've watched more of this, I'm revising my statement.  They're still a bunch of bitches, but they're absolutely within their rights and I'd sue the fuck out of the city of Dearborn for this.  A few redneck cops don't trump the constitution.  If majority rule trumped free speech, this website wouldn't exist.  I reckon I'm on team crazy Christian on this one, damn.

I don't think there's a winning team to this... Unless you're the guy on the outskirts with a bag of popcorn laughing at everything. Team Popcorn!

But I think they were abusing their free speech because I'm pretty sure all they want is another lawsuit to win. Both sides were acting like idiots and the cops didn't want to deal with them at all. I don't blame them. I would rather sit safely on the outside and let them at each other.
