This video is fantastic. Speaking at the most recent EG conference, author, philosopher, prankster and journalist A.J. Jacobs talks about the year he spent living biblically -- following the rules in the Bible as literally as possible.


I've been reading his book, if you're like me and enjoy hilarious reading, you should definitely check it out. The Year of Living Biblically.

Finished this book a couple of weeks ago and learned a lot. I got some interesting perspectives and appreciated the fact that while he was humorous he wasn't disrespectful in a way that  I would not be able to recommend the book to some of my moderate theist friends. The book is a good bridge.

I am back tracking and now reading his first book "Know It All". Pretty good too.
