A Christian Hate Group: The American Family Association

The AFA claims not to be a hate group. I beg to differ. One speech Scott Lively gave in Uganda to spark the outrage that led to the "Kill the Gays Bill" and ...

Bryan Fischer states that people are "grossed out" by what gays do. But how would Bryan Fischer actually KNOW what gay men do? Unless he, himself, is gay?

Anti-anti-gay ≠ anti-Christian. If you want to resolve the conflict, let us first examine the first 'anti' in the scenario to rear its ugly head (as the video does). Understandably, "pro-family" groups see themselves as 'pro' and not 'anti' because no one wants to play the part of the villain; however, in practice they cannot build up their version of family without first tearing down the families of LGBT people.

I don't know what's stupider; that Fischer peddles such transparent hatred, that others are dumb enough to buy it, or that Fox "News" turns a pack of demonizing, vicious lies like this...

"The Nazi party, ladies and gentlemen, was formed in a gay bar! In Munich! And historians agree that Hitler's earliest enforcers, the storm troopers, the brown shirts, were almost without exception, homosexuals. So it was homosexual thugs that helped Hitler to form the Nazi party! In other words, no homosexual thugs, no homosexual brown shirts, no homosexual storm troopers: no Nazi party!"

...into a story about the oppression of Christian views in the Army under Obama.

So yet another turd drops from the festering bunghole that is Fox "News" and into the brains of the religious right. I'm surprised Rupert Murdoch hasn't given the hateful bastard his own show on the 'Fair and Balanced' network.

The American Family Association's refusal to criticize the extreme penalties of the proposed Ugandan legislation towards their gay citizenry places them in the same category as the Islamic extremists who stone women to death after suffering the crime of rape. It is yet another example of the misguided antiquated philosophies of religion that continue to plague our civilization.
