Thanks, Nelson. I got rear-ended on my trip while in a rain storm on the highway in Tulsa. But, no major injuries, just a bit of whiplash.
We had a good Easter yesterday--I wonder if any atheists got invited by their families and were in attendance! Talked about the difference between religion and a vibrant faith in Christ. Also, dealt a bit with how hypocrisy by Christians--a pretty popular topic on this site and a valid criticism--drives people away. May we be better people!
So, did you survive Easter? Any invites?
I dig the purple glasses. Thanks for the inquiry about my trip. Hope you have a good week.
hey nelson! thanks for the congrats. I feel like I dont deserve it due to my absence lately...I've been so busy with school and work that I haven't had much time for the site. I've missed you all a lot though. Expect a blog soon, I've had some big shit go down and might need to rant.
Yeah, evolution is pretty awesome. It certainly makes learning tons of different developmental timelines a lot easier! I'm currently thinking I'll do the postdoc then research professor route when I get done with my PhD, but I have a long ways to go before I get there.
I follow the laws of Thelema, not only "do what thou will" but also "love is the law, love under will". I'm still learning about Thelema, and there is much to learn, but I believe that these two basic principles can be applied to the lives of most.
I also find it interesting that at least the basic laws of Thelema seem to coincide with the Wiccan principle "An it harm none, do what ye will".
Podcast sounds great, although I may not be conscious for it. I'm on call for work at 6 AM (EMS drone), for my 12 hr. shift - and it's a long 12 hours.

I have the problem where I think everything is interesting. I'll just have to do it all. :P
