Unfortunately you did the right thing.  Since she wrote down your name and place of employ, your supervisors may have gotten the report.  When I did something that created a "Bless you for that", I have said things like, "Why do people need a god to do the right thing?" and I have gotten the cold shoulder from some of the so called Christians in the office.
