RE:"I stumbled this...you might like it..."

..very cool in Bflat, it ended up like a "boards of Canada" song!

Know this band?

Yes-- they remind me a lot of Rage Against the Machine.

Thanks. It took me a bit to figure out how to reply!

Thanks Reg, I sort of expect os's and their peripherals to do that shit automatically, they seem to ask often enough. I'll try that. Can't wait for the day of a centrally organised atheist, socialist, humanist systems management paradigm to begin.

Reg, You have no idea how much your words mean to me. Thank you from across the miles. Jonas smiled when I told him who you are and he was tickled to be in on our escapade. He thought your name was cool and was impressed that news of his illness had reached Ireland. More than that..he knows There are others who believe he will get well without God. I don't care if he chooses to be converted before he dies just because he is a child and finds it comforting.....but until we get closer to death...if he has a fighting chance....I want him to know it is because of human knowledge, skill and determination Thank you for helping me. I am so grateful. Best regards. Kristin

Thanks, Reg.  I've got an interesting book on the go right now and I've been checking out some videos of lectures by Andy Thomson on Youtube.  Between the two I've been getting a big eye opener on 'religious thought' and I've already started a blog about how religion and conspiracies have similar attractions for many people.  Hopefully I'll get time for this latest one by Shermer before the end of the year.

The second commandment advocates punishing innocent children for the disbelief of their great-grandparents.  Which American law agrees with this ?

the difficulty with Craig is that you really need to know your shit in order to address his arguments. lots of atheists talk about how stupid are the things he says but they'd be absolutely slaughtered if they were to debate him, just as most everyone that's debated him has been.

thanks as always for the heads up on stuff you think might be valuable to Sunday School. in this case i had that Harris/WLC debate featured in an edition from about 3 or so weeks ago (i think. could be more). :)
