Thanks Misty..(Do I call you Misty or Ms Pitbull?).. That was a very friendly welcome... I am really enjoying the level and range of discussions that I've found on TA so far. I've read several of your posts and admire your balance and perspective.
Misty: in ref to Abraham's cutting off his foreskin, it has been suggested that his foreskin was so tight that it prevented him from achieving a full erection, thereby explaining his inability to impregnate his wife who by the time he did it, had gone through menopause.
I wanted to apologize for my last reply to "SabreNation"; as you noted, it unhelpfully descended to the level of name calling, and so I've deleted it. I rarely stoop to the level of ad hominem attack; I simply lost all patience with this "Sabre" person once he suggested to "Jon" that he stop whining and end his life already in the "Life a Gift or a Burden" thread. Eight years ago, my brother took his own life, and the callousness of the people around him was partly to blame, so I have no tolerance for the kind of hateful nonsense that "Sabre" was posting. Unfortunately, my emotions got the better of me.
Yeah it's finally I nice day here in Cincinnati, OH too... the last 3 or 4 days have been overcast with thunderstorms and pouring rain off and on. My "weather" box on facebook says it's about 67 degrees (Fareinheit) and the weather is "fair." Perfect day for a walk through the woods! Yay!
Misty, I hope you don't mind but I took a quote from one of your blogs and added it to my quote group. I asked Morgan to post it as our current quote, or tag line, on the home pg. He did and said that our tag line also shows up in the google search for our site. Check out the new quote!
I don't wish for 'em to be thrown away like garbage. I don't care what they do with 'em after the fact. It's dead. Put it in the cremation oven to avoid the plague or study it, that's my opinion. I can't find anythin' on who gets the fetus when it's done. I seem to come up with some weird thoughts on things. Didn't mean to get THAT issue started. Woe is me.
