i probably have to ask you to start typing your discussions on TA instead of in Word and then copying and pasting them then. i fixed this one for you but fixing them each and every time you start a new thread will get tedious as i'm sure you can imagine.

use your cursor/mouse to highlight all the text and then click the button to remove the formatting.
previously you mentioned writing in Word and then pasting the text into TA. assuming you've done that this time as well, why not just write right in TA so you wouldn't have this problem?

yes, because the problem is that you're copy and pasting not only the text but the formatting as well. some websites don't have formatting that will cause a problem so you don't notice that it's there. there's no way around it but to remove the formatting once you paste it into the text box here on TA before posting as the Help Center thread details.

Claudia, check this out for help with fixing the color of the text on your posts.

Claudia, the text coloring on your post about Dawkins was cause because it was copied and pasted from a location with applied formatting into the Rich Text editor. I've edited the post so that it displays correctly. In the future you can avoid this by either clearing the formats after pasting in, or clicking the HTML tab first then pasting.
