Thank you for the welcome! I agree completely, ideas don't automatically deserve a level of respect because someone has one, I was more trying to ward off people who ascribe to the "belittle and demonize" approach of dealing with believers. I can understand where the urge comes from, and I've certainly had it, but as you said, I think subtle is the key to encouraging people to think for themselves.
