Thanks for taking care of the spammer.
I read some of your Bio and saw that you watched the movie Zeitgeist.
I too noticed it had some errors, but not enough to concern me.
My YT handle is gjsterp.
Hey, would it be too much to put a category on our bio YT Handle?
I would like to let members here know my YT ID.
BTW, if you have not watched this man's videos, I highly recommend it. http://www.youtube.com/user/Evid3nc3#p/c/A0C3C1D163BE880A
Besure to watch his Deconversion 2.0 - it has many parts.
I believe he too works with computers, and his vids are very professionally done.
I really need to take an HTML class or something. I'm confused on the precise placement of the tag. I have been toying with using it in various places in various ways, but to no effect that I can tell.
Johnny! You showed me how to align photos left and right with code. What if I want two photos side by side? After I make them do that, my next lines of text always runs down the narrow column between the two. I'd like for it to start below the photos. Could you tell me how to make that happen? I appreciate your help!
"The ozone hole, however, is not the mechanism of global warming. Ultraviolet radiation represents less than one percent of the energy from the sun—not enough to be the cause of the excess heat from human activities. "
"A full recovery of the stratospheric ozone hole could modify climate change in the Southern Hemisphere and even amplify Antarctic warming, according to scientists from the University of Colorado at Boulder, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA."
Looks like an agenda in there. In the story you link to, it says:
Like hundreds of other scientists around the world, Dr. Lu may have unwittingly relied on invalid data for a portion of his study. His real-time satellite and balloon data, which shows CO2 does not cause climate change, is not in dispute. Not so for the historical temperature data, on which he based his estimates of how much global cooling we face as Earth’s temperatures return to their historic pre-CFC levels. “My temperature data comes from the UK – the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University,” he reveals when questioned.
As a result of the Climategate Scandal, this temperature data is now in doubt. Investigations into the Climategate emails are underway at East Anglia and the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
The temperature data from "Climategate is not in doubt.
I wish I knew more about peer reviewed journals, but there is worry, even among climatolgists dealing with climate "skeptics", that the peer review process in some journals is being hijacked by ideology, and they even allude to this in these emails.
The writer of this article is a climate change "skeptic", according to his Wiki, and that explains the tone of the article.
Dr. Q-B Lu doesn't seem qualified to, with one paper, overturn all the mounting evidence of most climatologists. Here is his website. Pretty colors.
I'd have to dig more to see if Physical Review Letters is very reputable. I know that sometimes pseudoscience nuts will publish in journals that don't normally deal with the subject matter in the paper. Many times it is a matter of finding a sympathetic editor.
