Eh, it's been an eventful few months. Flew back to Italy for Easter and have been stuck here since because of an infection. I'm just about to fly back to England at last :)
Thanks for the welcome. I'll take a look-see for a while to case the joint, see if there's anyone with similar delusions of competence as me. So I can upgrade delusions and stand out. For starters I want to finally have my own blog, something I've been planning and wanting to do for quite a while now. I mean I had my first computer in 1984, an Orwellian Commodore 64, an XT in 1988, a pentium in 1997 and first taste of cyberspace in 1998. In short, how do I go about contructing my blog?
I started the RR about a year or two ago, but it got so full of kids I stopped posting there. Then I was invited to another site for former Reading Room members. I visit most of the Infidel sites and have seen many of your posts and admire your ability to hit it on the head with posts about current topics. I recognized your icon immediately. I am a real dunce with the computer age, I am barely computer literate. So don't get mad if I can't find my way back very often. :)
Not trying to start shit but here's what he told me:
hey Robert, me again. lol.
i edited your blog post to include the full article at the link instead of just having "check out this link".
we try to make it so that members can stay on site if they wish to, being able to read the full article without having to click away if that's what they want to do. obviously the link should be included for attribution but for safety and security- malicious websites, NSFW stuff- we feel it's best to do it this way.
thanks for understanding!

So I'll go with your reccomendations Dallas and post a snippet with the link to the article. I also want to be clear because if i'm the moderator I want to be up on the rules. So sure, I'll handle the hitch group.

Thanks for your help.
Ok but Neslon keeps telling me to put the entire article on so which should I do? I just want to make sure I'm following blog rules.
Insofar as the moderators roles, besides the description what else is involved?
