That's the problem; local flavors and people going away to be replaced with cookie-cutter fast-food and vastly over-priced coffee. I make better coffee in my own kitchen. but the cookies at Mickey-Ds are superior.
If I had the opportunity I'd spend the summer in Ireland; however, I'm not a Guinness-fancier, too stout for me.
Neat, a land that suffered under the tyranny of the priesthood for far too long. Most of my DNA markers point to Northern Ireland, I'm a Hughes, and I have my Hughes tartan and heraldry and I plan to buy a full kilt as soon as I can afford to invest $300+ on attire I seldom wear. I've flown across Ireland several times and circumnavigated it in a research vessel, but never was so fortunate to come ashore.
