i agree with you. problematic though, isn't it? you'd have to continue to check back on all those sites to make sure they remain of a high caliber because if the motivation for checking them out at start up is that you don't want to be associated with poor sites then that same motivation should have you want to go back periodically to check on them too. checking on ten sites, not so hard; checking on 100... eh.
still, it is cool. we're excited about it. just have to work out the practical hurdles.

ah! the "Seed Project". :) how'd you come across that? i don't think it's fully live yet.
while still subject to change, what we have in mind right now is this:
1. you must have your own domain already.
2. you must be active on your blog/site at least 4 times a month.
3. you would have to include a link/ad on your site that directs to TA.
4. only limited tech support for basic questions would be included.
pretty cool right?
