I work at a family owned medical technologies company, and all of my co-workers are christians, and needless to say it is a great day everyday. Well one particular lady, I work directly with, goes as far as saying:

"Do not say the lord's name in vain near me, or else I will have to pray for you."

Pretty intense stuff! I am not one to push others, but I would love to hear what she has to say. Maybe she thinks atheists are all evil abortionists who want to destroy christmas for everyone, anyways...

So I found this apologist site, http://atheismexposed.tripod.com/introduction.htm it is a site that exposes the militant atheist. Some scary people those militant atheists. This lovely site was designed by Michael Caputo who teaches high school and has published books regarding Christianity, who knew? Well if you click on the introduction page it squirts out some emotive ejaculation:

" modern militant atheism has a radical agenda to make abortion and euthanasia totally legal, to normalize and render acceptable all forms
of sexual deviations and to finally erase religion out of existence."

-Michael Caputo.

Well I guess we all know where this is going. So go ahead and check out his lovely site

P.S if you are reconverted to christianity, I hope you pray for us misguided atheist assholes.

Um, Wow. Hate to tell him, but abortion is legal. And though I would love to kill stupid people, it would only be "merciful" to those of us who actually use our brains.

Yeah, yeah. Really, I wonder if some people still got something like brains.

Because true brains, oh yes, The Bible got them for lunch.

May be he should read the book by Susan Jacoby, Freethinkers.

He refereed "God Seen Trough the Eyes of Great Men." The books site says, THANK YOU for your interest in this book. Unfortunately Howard Publishing, the book's publisher, has recently discontinued it. Until a new publisher will be found...

I just get tired of the same arguments and assertions that get thrown my way, directly and indirectly like Caputo's site. If he wanted a more successful site, and more hits on Amazon with his books, he would not make these wild assertions about atheism and instead do a little research. So I, and presumably all of you, have to spend most of the time debunking their claims and listing the same refutations and I for one am so damn sick of being on the defensive. This last year, I have been reading books on the topic of atheism, watched youtube videos debunking creationists claims, even debated with a few people on the topic, and even, on occasion, found myself reading the bible just so I can support my position, my beliefs, and prepare myself for when a co-worker, family member, or when I pick up Kent Hovind from prison and I get asked that same question we all hate hearing, why did you become an atheist? do you hate god? etc. I wish all of you luck on your defensive battle fronts. Thanks for commenting.
