I was doing a search or two the other day and ran across a site that, at first, seemed to be a joke in a similar vein as the
Landover Baptist Church. But, it is real--real scary. It's
Jesus-is-savior.com.
It's full of vile hatred and complete nonsense, more than most sites I've seen.
To me, one of the funniest/scariest things, though, has to be the idea that women
wearing pants is somehow a very big deal.
"One cannot deny that sexually suggestive clothing is the attire of a harlot. The next question is obvious--are pants on a woman sexually suggestive? Frankly, Yes! Any idiot knows that men are sexually aroused by SIGHT. This is the great danger of women wearing pants ... Maybe you don't care; but there are godly men who are trying to maintain clean minds, and you're helping to hurt them spiritually. God will hold every woman accountable for EVERY lust she intentionally caused in men by her immodest apparel." [Emphasis mine]
The site goes on to claim that John Mayer is also compliant in this problem...
By the way, a woman who purposely dresses immodestly is guilty of idolatry. She is placing her own will above God's Word, making herself to be a god, and is causing men to worship her body. Many secular songs have been written to attest to this fact, such as John Mayer's "Your Body Is A Wonderland." ... The song is nothing more than idolatrous worship of a woman's body--SEX! ... John Mayer is serving the Devil.
To top it all off, the site blames the wearing of pants by women for child molestation and rape...
"The bottom line is that pants on women cause men to lust in sinful adulterous thoughts (Matthew 5:28). Do you think it's a mere coincidence that homosexuality, child molesting, rape, and all sorts of other sexual sins have become prevalent in the United States within the past couple decades? Folks, it's the immodesty of women in society that has caused this."
So, women...take off your pants! God will thank you for it.
