Woman Kills Baby by Jumping from Balcony to Avoid the Devil

Okay, take a good read, because this is un-freaking-believable!

A BABY died when 12 members of a family leapt from a third-floor balcony fleeing what they believed was the DEVIL.

The tragedy happened after a wife woke to see her naked husband moving around the bedroom.

She screamed: "It's the Devil!" and the man ran into another room, where 11 other family members were watching TV.

The man's confused sister-in-law stabbed him in the hand and shoved him out of the flat in Paris.

The family panicked when he forced his way back in and jumped.

A four-month-old baby died in his mother's arms.

This story doesn't make sense. How is it possible that no one in the house recognized who the guy was? I guess this is how people's beliefs make them "see" anything they are told to see, huh?

Very sad that a baby died because of a totally irrational confusion.

I know! It's incredibly idiotic behavior of a whole bunch of people!

No, Adriana, there was not alcohol involved, at least the story doesn't mention it.

Apparently the baby was the only one that died when all the members of the family, I mean twelve people, jumped off!

I agree, the story is really weird.

*faceplam* Oh wow! Shaking walls... do those things really happen? Is that what they mean when they say a "mystic moment"?

I wonder if religious people are mentally sick. Was their faith in God stronger than their belief in gravity?

Doesn't make any sense to us, James, but let's not forget that the religious fear is irrational.

If I believed in the christian devil, had I been there, I would have been terrified. Wouldn't have jumped off, though.

Interesting, Mario, I think, another question could be, was their faith not strong enough to believe that their god would save them from the devil?

I do think that religious belief is a form of mental illness.

It was in "The Sun"
Don't believe a word of it. its reputation is only one step above "the daily sport" who's most famous story was probably "World war II Bomber found on Moon"
To my eternal shame I did the paste up for that!
