I like that a lot! It should be a flier or something (if it isn't already?) I like the comment "I can easily refute every point you have made in your post, and may do so under a separate article." Let us know if this person goes through with this. I'd love to read it.

2/3rds of the stuff is good but it runs into problems when u start talking about mithra, a lot of inaccuracies there

Thanks Doone, I like it that you like it.

Well, NO RELIGION, what can I say... we are like-minded.

Oh Reggie, I didn't think about that, very sorry.

Yes Danielle, It IS actually a flyer, the original is a bit different but the content is the same. In fact, this is one of the flyers that I printed the last time I had to go to church for a first communion and did the flyers bit one more time, you can read about the first time here:

Yes, Filippo D'Asaro, someone pointed this out on the original post on my site. Haven't read the reference yet. I might be editing the content on the flyer itself, not the post though. Thank you for the link.

It is indeed a flyer. It was this flyer that finally slapped some sense into me. I credit the contents of this thing with "converting" me to Atheism. Although, as Hitchens says, it's not so much a matter of suddenly becoming an atheist, as it is having a sudden realization that you were an atheist for quite a while already and just hadn't realized it. I clung to ID theory as the last tiny string of "faith" that I had and the part of this pamphlet that talked about ID did the job of cutting that last string.

I LOVE this pamphlet :)

I really like this! It gives me a broad sense of the absurdity of religion, especially "What does the Bible tell us?". That would be a good thing to have in your pocket when being ambushed by xtians. Just ask them how they reconcile the passages with their own lives and why they don't follow the "word" to the letter. About the Mithra thing, it is true that there may be inaccuracies, but we are intelligent enough to check them out for ourselves. People should be wary of any claimed facts without references. It is just too damn important.

Haha, no, I was amused. I know you didn't intend to.
