I was meandering through the internet and Twitter and came across this:
http://college-of-practical-homeopathy.com/
There is a real life COLLEGE OF HOMEOPATHY!
I wonder if the lessons consist of the lecturer breathing inside the classrooms once a week, so that you get an 'essence of lecturer'? Or the notes written on an A4 sheet and then each person on the course getting 1/50,000 of the sheet?
It begger's belief that there are people who pay good money to go on a homeopathy course to sell water to people who are stupid enough to...hang on, I'm having an idea...how much are these courses?
Nah, I'd never be able to live with myself, selling water to the terminally naive.
I could set up the College of Impractical Homeopathy though, an on-line, distant learning organisation that just sent out atheist pamphlets to anyone who donated £10.00...
I drink a few bottles of homeopathy a day!! haha...
No no you're spelling it wrong - if you want a crowd of sales, advertise it as Heteropathy in the Republican States.
I dunno Angela...it sounds like she's treating the symptoms of a mental disorder. How much better would her life be if she got mainstream medical treatment for that?
I have to say, it is a relief that they won't be teaching any "impractical" homeopathy.
That's almost as cuckoo as a bible college. Can you imagine studying bullshit for four (or more) years? I grew up near Biola Bible College and Azusa Pacific Bible College in Southern California, If you want to some some seriously messed up kids, that's the place to go.
If you haven't read them already, read Bad Science and Bad Pharma by Ben Goldacre, both are brilliant books by an excellent, informative author.
