My fully distilled reduction is, "I have a problem with religion because it is continually used as a justification, by absentee authority, to oppress and persecute.  It's like having a counter clerk at a fast food store telling me that I must submit to anything and everything they demand because they have the head of homeland security on the phone -> but I can clearly see that the line has been cut."

How ironic: claiming atheists are the most hate filled group in the world while making a hate filled rant about atheists....Do Christians even listen when they talk?

I don't think I could ever be a Christian or Muslim, I can't combine hatred, bigotry, and stupidity like that.

Ha! Great post, some reasons why religion causes misery.. It's sad we atheists are seen as bad people, this world is crazy. But we atheists are rising! Day by day we're growing! :) but for now we must watchout for people who might want to harm or even kill us!
