Well they figured it out finally!
For those that have me on thier Facebook you might already know some of this story. Right before the holidays, I hurt my back and went into the ER (As there is no Sick Call on shoreduty), and told that I just hurt my back in muscle strain and gave me a muscle relaxant shot and sent me home. They made an appointment for me to get an xray done of my back to see if there was any problems. In the xray they said that they saw something there. It looked to be about 3-5cm in diameter but couldnt tell what it was. They then scheduled me for a ultrasound but neither the tech or the Dr. could really see what it was. The did figure out that it wasnt a gall, kidney other kind of stone but as far as what it exactly, they couldnt tell me.
Today I was given an MRI and after the MRI in 6 passes the Dr. told me what it was. He walks out and says to me that right kidney never formed. I asked him "Are you fucking kidding me?" And he kind of laughed and says that sometimes this happens and your perfectly fine, but only have one kidney to take care. Good thing I dont really drink any more and carefull on medicinces.
So after my initall shock wore off, I just got thinking about and posted something to this effect in my FB, "Does God also have a non functioning appendix, a not formed kidney and get sinus infections because we once walked on all fours? Wondering?" Why wont God heal amputees?.....

Wow, that is really bizarre to wrap your head around and realize that you have only had one kidney.
But I'm with Dan; screw congenital defects, it must be an organ-stealing conspiracy orchestrated by Obama to fuel his Communist-Nazi Death Machine that runs on kidneys!

considering the abuse I have put my kindey(s) through in my early 20's in many foreign ports drinking...i am REALLY surprised it (they) work....hahaha!!

Hey, Matthew,
I learned something new.
1.) Kidneys might not form properly
2.) The condition is not that unusual
Maybe that's why we have 2.
