Was Hitler really an atheist?
The eternal debate, was Hitler an atheist? Well, who cares?
From what he said throughout his life, he was a catholic, we can still find some evidence of his liaison with the Roman Catholic Church.
In this picture, Cardinal Secretary of State, Eugenio Pacelli (later to become Pope Pius XII) signs the Concordat between Nazi Germany and the Vatican at a formal ceremony in Rome on 20 July 1933.
Nazi Vice-Chancellor Franz von Papen sits at the left, Pacelli in the middle, and the Rudolf Buttmann sits at the right.
The Concordat effectively legitimized Hitler and the Nazi government to the eyes of Catholicism, Christianity, and the world.

But, can anyone really tell what was in Hitler’s mind and what were his true beliefs? … and, does this really make any difference? I think it doesn’t. He was a Nazi with power without boundaries and really weird ideals.
We cannot link Hitler’s actions to his religious affiliation – or lack thereof.

No worries. Just to clarify, my intention is not to discuss whether was Hitler an atheist or not, but it's relevance when theists pull this card in debate.

Well Hitler may have been an atheist, despite the lack of evidence to the contray. However, if Christians want to make this claim, and also claim that his statements of faith were only made to manipulate the people, then they are only hurting them selves. They are admitting that only Christian principles could achieve his goals. If he had used atheism he would not have gotten very far.

No one should give any credence to the whole "Hitler was an atheist" nonsense. This whole claim has been cooked up in order to try and equate Nazism with Communism (which defiantly was a movement dominated by atheists) and to try and direct the blame for the Holocaust away from its obvious roots in centuries of Christian persecution of Jews.
It's a claim with zero basis in fact, and shouldn't be given an ounce of consideration.
"What were Hitler real beliefs?" is a question as stupid as asking what anyone's "real beliefs" are. The way many Christians see it, no one who does anything they don't like is a "real Christian", these people are just idiots.
Hitler was a religious man, of that there is no doubt.
