"The Wormhole" First Impressions?
The first episode in "The Wormhole" series with Morgan Freeman aired tonight. I am interested to hear some of the impressions of people on this site. I thought it was pretty interesting overall and I was pleased that they mentioned several explanations to "God" and the "fine-tuning" of our universe (including my touted multiverse theory). I thought it was very thought provoking and I don't think we should be too quick to dismiss physicists who say we may be able to prove whether God exists or not. Yet I disagreed with the premise put forth by the physicist/priest/knight that our capacity of knowledge is somehow inherently limited. Science, and the scientific method, can no doubt prove anything that actually exists, it is only a question of when it will be discovered.

I don't think F-T and God are really problems. Hence why pretty much every big physicist is either an atheist or completely apathetic to religion.

Gregory, if Titan does turn out to have Methane based life, do you think that the fundies will say it was fine tuned as well? :)
