The Vatican Is Hard At Work Proving Their Hypocrisy

You gotta love the Vatican. All in one weekend they've lifted the excommunication of a bishop that denies the Holocaust ever happened ( and slammed President Barack Obama for lifting the ban on U.S. funding for foreign family planning groups because some of those groups support abortion (,8599,1873904,00.html).

So what's the message here? Killing babies is evil - unless they're Jews? I mean I'm not all that surprised with the whole bishop thing; the pope is, after all, a not-so-reformed Nazi. When you look at the big picture over the course of history the Catholic Church and Nazi's have quite a bit in common. The church just has better PR people - and they don't descriminate by skin color (not anymore at least) - they hate all non-Christians equally. So that decision really isn't all that surprising.

Really the abortion thing isn't exactly a shocker either - I mean if abortion prevents people in poverty-stricken nations from spewing out poorly parented, poorly educated, and just all around poor children who are the Catholic priests supposed to molest? They can't very well molest educated children, they might tell someone! They've learned their lesson about that stuff. Why do you think most of the priests that are caught are shipped off to parishes in places where education is minimal and religious indoctrination is high? Dumb kids tend to be too dumb to realize they're being sodomized.

It's more the hysterical timing of the two things that I find so entertaining. The aura of hypocrisy that eminates from screaming that abortion is murder but denying that hundreds of thousands of Jews were murdered by quite possibly the most psychotically evil man ever to live is just peachy. Do they really think their followers are *THAT* blind? Ok... dumb question. The mere fact that they're still faithful to an organization with the Catholic church's history proves they are. Hey, I wonder where Pope Benedict stands on Jewish abortions? You wanna bet that he'd be a little less saddened over the death of a child set to be brainwashed from birth with Jewish teachings rather than Christian beliefs? I'd make that bet.

No level of hypocrisy should surprise anyone with even a passing knowledge of the Vatican though, dig up just about any issue you want and you're sure to find mountains of it. Be it their "scientific" council that was injected with theologists so it wouldn't become "too scientific." Or their unwavering support of priests who raped little boys while at the same time condemning homosexuality as evil. Or the sheer nerve of the former Pope for blaming the molested CHILDREN for the whole thing

MAY 22, 2002 | ISSUE 38•19
VATICAN CITY – Calling forgiveness "one of the highest virtues taught to us by Jesus," Pope John Paul II issued a papal decree Monday absolving priest-molested children of all sin.

“Though grave and terrible sins have been committed, our Lord teaches us to turn the other cheek and forgive those who sin against us,” said the pope, reading a prepared statement from a balcony overlooking St. Peter’s Square. “That is why, despite the terrible wrongs they have committed, the church must move on and forgive these children for their misdeeds.”

… “We must send a clear message to these hundreds – perhaps thousands – of children whose sinful ways have tempted so many of the church’s servants into lustful violation of their holy vows of celibacy. The church forgives them for their transgressions and looks upon them not with intolerance, but compassion.” …

Remember that?

Or how about their stern opposition of the death penalty - and equally stern opposition of a resolution in the EU aimed at preventing homosexuals from being sentenced to death just for being gay? What was the Holy Asshole's official statement on why? Go ahead and try to make sense of this fucking obscure, unintelligible line of crap - "the Holy See would oppose a resolution that would protect gays from being killed, just because they are gay, because it would ‘add new categories of those protected from discrimination’ and could lead to reverse discrimination against traditional heterosexual marriage.” Pardon my french but what the fuck is that?! Sounds like the same type of "if we allow people to watch pornography then pretty soon everyone will be fucking sheep and raping babies" bullshit we've heard from these assholes before. Oh and lets not forget his Christmas speech where he denounced selfishness while wearing a robe that's worth more money than your house before returning to his gold encrusted castle to sit on his solid gold throne where servants pander to his every need. Of course I haven't touched on their biggest bit of hypocrisy in recent history - declaring that the Democratic party is the "Party of Death."

Excuse me? First off, nobody can POSSIBLY hope to challenge the Catholic churches long, illustrious history as the one true Party of Death. The Deomcrats have a long, long way to go if they ever hope to challenge for that title. Second, how can you possibly even attempt to label the Democrats as the "Party of Death" when we just finished 8 years of hell under a Republican war monger that bankrupted our entire economy to fight 2 wars - one started under false pretense. Not to mention the minor issue of that whole "torture" thing. Of course why would they even think of denouncing Bush and the Republican party? They've spent their recent history working feverishly to preserve and endorse the Vatican's most cherished ideals - descrimination, hatred, trampling on human rights at every opportunity, dividing the masses, toture, death, and forcing their own ideals upon other people through violence and warfare. Hell, once Benedict dies, Bush should throw his name in the hat to become the next pope. His priorities certainly seem to be right in line with those of the Catholic church.
